Enjoying a very pleasant massage at the end of a hard day of work at the office while listening to music might seem like a distant dream for most of us, but the truth of the matter is that this dream could become a reality a lot faster and a lot easier (not to mention cheaper) than expected. And that's because the people over at Raffel Comfort Sciences have just introduced through their flagship brand, Tranquil Ease, the Rave massage/music chair, a device that allows users to enjoy a very relaxing massage session while listening to their favorite songs.

Thus, the Rave offers four pre-programmed massage sessions, each running 15 minutes with automatic shutoff and featuring therapeutic Shiatsu acupressure and Swedish massage techniques, all of which can be adjusted by intensity, width, speed and direction. Moreover, the sessions provide deep kneading, tapping, rolling, spot and partial massages, to meet the user's specific needs and preferences, and custom massage options are available.

However, as mentioned earlier, the Rave provides certain multimedia functions, since the chair features built-in storage for an iPod or MP3 player, with bass notes synchronized to the vibrations. The music system is equipped with two dynamic, full-range speakers mounted in the back and a music jack in the arm storage compartment, thus allowing the user to plug-in his/her music player so the music will play right through the chair. When the massage is operating and music is playing, the massage will be synchronized to the beat of the music.

The Rave provides quite a high level of comfort, as it measures around 1 meter in height, 73.66 cm in width, a seat depth of around 50.8 centimeters, an 89-cm overall depth with back upright and an overall extended length of 1.29 meters. Moreover, it's crafted of soft, comfortable, upholstery featuring a washable micro fiber fabric, and is available in several colors, namely black, brown, gray, green and red.

Besides being quite featured-packed, the device isn't that expensive, either, as it retails for just around 900 US dollars, which is a lot cheaper than other comparable devices available on the market.
