The price could be its only downside

If you're looking for the perfect acoustic isolation, while enjoying your loved music, you should definitely check this out. The Sonic Chair could be the perfect gift for a music lover that wants to minimize the musical aural onto others, and keep all the vibes around him.

The funky designed chair speakers are carefully crafted and positioned in the red classy "bowl"-like pad, so you may sit within the powerful bass and focused acoustics, while the same sound is barely audible to everyone else. All the audio sources are capable to connect via the integrated line-level input, so feel free to plug iPods, mp3 players or whatever it needs.

The sophisticated furniture item was designed by Frank Hussong, Michael Kientzler and Daniele Reuter: "The open design ensures a resonance-receptive, well-balanced sound environment. The active and passive sound insulation creates an acoustic island. Background noises will not disrupt the enjoyment of music or an audio book in the sonic chair, and what the listener chooses to hear is hardly audible beyond the chair."

However, this seems to be a cool idea, embedded in a fresh and innovative design. Fortunately, it comes in four different color versions, to satisfy customers' various tastes. Does it come in fresh lime version?

To be even more comfortable to use, the chair comes with a built-in swiveling drink tray that is said to be quite appreciated among consumers.

Of course, if you buy one of those, you can ask the designers to install additional high technology items such as a touchscreen controller or an iPod dock in its place. Not to mention how great this would be if you're planning to start a business in the coffee shops industry.

In the manufacturing process, the designers suggested suede microfibers and rugged-mesh backrest, which not only provide decent comfort level, but also look glamorous. It couldn't hurt to add a couple of throw pillows to go with the chill out sessions. But, that's just me!

The price tag for this dandy furniture item is estimated to be somewhere around eight grand. Still interested?
