The so-called “Zero Load Design” keeps the voltage stable even at 0W load

Today's computers and consumer electronics devices, whether due to their CPUs or other components, strive to be as energy-efficient as possible. Enermax kept that in mind when it made the new Modular Triathlor FC PSUs.

Power supplies sold for $100 / 100 Euro to $129 / 129 Euro don't usually have many special features, but Enermax decided to use DC-to-DC technology anyway when it made the Triathlor FC.

In fact, as if their modular construction wasn't enough, the company also implemented the “Zero Load Design” which keeps voltage stable even at 0W load. This ensures full compatibility with energy-saving functions included in modern processors and graphics cards.

The company also gave the 12V rail the ability to generate secondary voltages (3.3V and 5V), thus improving voltage regulation.

Sales will begin next week (October 2012), in three output options. The Triathlor FC 550W will carry a price of 99.90 Euro / $99.90, the 600W will ship for 119.90 Euro / $119.90 and the 700W model will need a payment of 129.90 / $129.90 Euro.
