Enthusiastic end-users that live in the US may have gotten wind of the Volcanus PC Chassis that Enermax launched on those grounds about a month ago. Its maker has now decided to expand availability of the product to European countries. As such, it issued a press release noting that European retailers now have it available for order, complete with all the features that it was revealed to possess when it was first unveiled.

One thing about the chassis is that, in tune with its name, it features a jet black flame design, with blazes that extend from the front to the sides. The mid-tower measures 480 (D) x 200 (W) x 443 (H) mm and attempts to combine the benefits of not just expandability and cooling performance, but also user-friendliness and a wide connectivity range.

One thing is that the enclosure is equipped with five exposed 5.25-inch drive bays and comes with a front I/O panel that has not only the ever present USB 2.0 ports, but also an eSATA connector and audio jacks. What's more, a 120mm fan is set at the rear, while a 140mm Apollish Vegas spinner, colored red, blue or not at all, sits at the front. Furthermore, Enermax outfitted its product with rubber grommets on the HDD rails, for reduced vibration and, thus, less noise. As for the expansion slots and drive bays themselves, they have a tool-less construction that makes it easy to install new components.

“Sturdy, screwless quick-release fastener for hard disc and optical drives as well as for the expansion slots already belong to the standard tools of Enermax cases. Apart from that, Volcanus offers several other mechanisms, which simplify the installation of system components and enable a clean cable routing,” the company states.

The Enermax Volcanus can be bought for 87.90 Euro, including VAT, and comes in three color options, depending on the color of the lighting.
