The spinners are regulated by pulse-width modulation (PWM)

Almost all cases have fans nowadays, but most of those fans are nothing special, whether they have colored LEDs or not.

Some fans do stand out more than the rest though, like Enermax' Twister Advance Series.

They get their name from the Twister bearing (carved halo frame and batwing blades) and have three different RPM modes (rotations per minute), controlled by pulse-width modulation (PWM) or by an integrated thermal sensor (after selecting the particular RPM range).

The Twister bearing, a magnetic bearing technology, is notable for the low abrasion compared to that of mechanical bearings such as Sleeve or Ball-Bearings.

Take the Cluster Advance 12cm for example: it can run at 500 to 1200, 500 to 1500 or 500 to 1800 RPM.

Users just need to choose what setting is the best for their chassis and voila! Wind starts buffeting the hardware inside.

Sadly, pricing and availability remain unknown.
