14 DAY TRIAL // Famous power supply unit (PSU) manufacturer, Taiwanese company Enermax launches today two new powerful units designed for powerful gaming PCs, servers or industrial equipment. The new products are completely modular and offer very high efficiency levels reaching 94%.
The new devices feature proprietary Enermax designs such as "Full-Zone Magnetic Quadrant Transformer Design" (FMQ Design), "Copper-Bridge Array", "Extreme density transformer" and "Enhanced Heatsink."
The Enermax Platimax 1350W comes with no less than six 12V lines, each capable of delivering 30A, with the exception of the 12V1 line that is only rated at 20A.
The PSU also supports peaks that are considerably higher than the rated nominal potency of 1350W. The maximum peak supported is an impressive 1600 watts.
The Enermax MAXREVO 1500W comes with Twister Bearing Fans that have minimal contact area for effective noise reduction and pretty much the same features that are present on the Platimax 1350W.
Just as its name says, the Enermax MAXREVO 1500W can handle loads up to 1500 watts with the ability to support peaks of 1650 watts.
It also comes with six different 12V lines, but in this case all of them are rated at 30A. Both PSUs are slated for October 2012, but there is no official pricing information available yet.
