A high-end PSU for the most powerful desktops out there

Enermax has just announced that it has released a new 1200 Watt power supply unit into the MaxRevo line, which so far is the least powerful PSU to be introduced by the company in this high-end product range.

Despite coming as the lowest wattage unit in the MaxRevo series, the 1.2kW PSU still features the same specs and advanced power delivery technologies as its larger siblings.

One of the most important innovations introduced by the MaxRevo series is the Copper-Bridge Array transmission technology which replaces conventional wires to provide up to 3% better power regulation.

Enermax states this feature enables its PSUs to deliver cleaner DC power and improves the system's stability.

As all the other MaxRevo power supplies, this 1.2kW model also comes with six 12V rails capable of providing 30A each, their total output power being rated at 100 Amps, which means that the PSU can deliver its full power on the 12V rail.

As it's usually the case with high-end power supply units, Enermax' MaxRevo series features a modular cable design.

Furthermore, all the models arrive with four 6+2pins PCI-E cables, can power up to 14 SATA drives and carry 10 MOLEX plugs.

The rest of the PSU features include 105°C Japanese electrolytic capacitors, a 13.9cm Twister-bearing fan (900 to 2000 RPM working speed), as well as the CordGuard and HeatGuard technologies.

The latter was designed to keep the fan running after the system was shut off, in order to allow for the PSU to cool down before it shuts down completely.

The MaxRevo 80PLUS Gold certified 1200 Watt PSU is available as we speak from various retailers in the UK, pricing being set at £269.90 (322 EUR or $428 US), including VAT. Together with this power supply, Enermax also introduced the mid-range NAXN 650W PSU.
