Anyone who though Enermax would take a break from launching new products after releasing the Fulmo ST was grossly mistaken: the company has just formally released another one.

Not another Fulmo ST though. The new enclosure is called COENUS and uses the mid-tower form factor, which is sort of synonymous with mainstream to high-end enclosures nowadays.

Indeed, only the very high-end enclosures come in Full-Tower shapes nowadays, for when HEDT or XL-ATX motherboards are supposed to be supported.

Otherwise, mid-tower is the way to go, which could act as both a blessing and a curse for the COENUS.

A blessing because everyone is looking for such chassis, and a curse because there are so many that the odds of people specifically looking for this one are slim.

Then again, Enermax knew this, which is why it went out of its way to give it value-adding features, like 30 mm of clearance for easy backside cable routing, a full-cover acrylic side panel, and wide expansion (allows for wide tower-type components to be installed).

There is a grill mesh, which is another asset (a three-dimensional black iron mesh), because it enhances ventilation.

Moving on, there are seven 3.5-inch drive bays on the inside, when the upper HDD bracket is where it should be.

That's not the only possibility though. Owners can arrange for four 2.5-inch trays as well, with only three left as 3.5-inch (upper HDD bracket in 2.5-inch position).

Then there is the 3 x 3.5-inch option, with bracket being removed for maximized VGA card cooling. Particularly large video boards or VGA coolers may demand this.

As for cooling, various fans can be set in place all over the interior of the chassis, and the cutout on the mainboard tray eases CPU cooler maintenance.
