14 DAY TRIAL // PETA has loads of friends among celebrities. Some of them have recently been nominated for this year's Emmys, and the organization was quick to congratulate them.
Peter Dinklage, Edie Falco, James Cromwell, Jane Lynch, Bill Maher, Tim Gunn, Alec Baldwin and Mayim Bialik are all on PETA’s list of actors who are not just extraordinarily gifted at what they do, but also animal lovers.
All of these celebrities have either taken the time to raise awareness of how animals are often abused by the entertainment industry, or have repeatedly asked that people show more compassion towards animals by embracing a vegan diet.
What's more, they have tried to convince ordinary folks to spay or neuter their pets.
“PETA thanks the kind nominees for all that they do to make a difference for animals! We wish them all good luck in September,” the organization writes in a blogpost.
