Some people out there just know that most of us wanted, at one point in our life, to be a firefighter, or a police officer, or a medic. Therefore, we have games to cover each of these categories and fulfill, at least in a virtual manner, our aspirations. But wouldn't you like to have one game that lets you have all those jobs? If you answered "yes", Codemasters will make it happen with "Emergency Mayhem", a Nintendo Wii exclusive.

The game's action takes place in Crisis City and such a name is the perfect place for some emergency mayhem. However, the emergencies in the city have a slapstick nature: hurl bananas at out of control monkeys, use a trampoline to bounce escaping prisoners back intro custody and herd penguins to safety. And each mission will have a hilarious consequence.

So, Emergency Mayhem combines intense driving sequences with the good old arcade mini games into more than 30 playable levels where you'll be a firefighter, police officer or medic. Here, your greatest enemy will be the time, relentlessly counting down as you take charge of a fire truck, ambulance, or police car to speed through the city's eight different districts to the next emergency. You'll have to find shortcuts, travel into the sewers and finally - save the day!

These emergencies might be not exactly what hardcore gamers would expect, but we all know that Nintendo's Wii is a family-oriented gaming console, so its games should follow the same rule. However, we are sure a fresh breath of air will never hurt you. Especially if you wanted to have one of these jobs when you were little.

Codemasters' Emergency Mayhem is scheduled for release during the Spring of 2008 and it already promises to use the Wiimote in wacky ways to solve the unique and hilarious crises in... Crisis City.
