The day you'll save the world using only a Wiimote is getting closer and closer, since Codemasters have announced that their latest game for the Wii, Emergency Mayhem, has gone gold and it is going to hit the North American markets starting the 15th of April and the European/PAL territories on the 18th of April. So, this Wii exclusive will finally bring you the Crisis City - one of the most chaotic cities in the world and it will allow you to try and save it while having a lot of fun!

As I said, the game's action takes place in Crisis City and such a name is the perfect place for some emergency mayhem. However, the emergencies in the city have a slapstick nature: hurl bananas at out of control monkeys, use a trampoline to bounce escaping prisoners back intro custody and herd penguins to safety. And each mission will have a hilarious consequence.

You will receive instructions from the HQ through the Wii Remote speaker, and you'll have to jump in a fire truck, ambulance or police patrol car and race against the clock, through the bustling city streets, dodging traffic and driving down shortcuts to reach the incident scene. But don't worry, that's not everything you'll have to do: once you reach an emergency, play switches to one of over 30 mini-game challenges and the Wii Remote is used in a huge range of wild ways to save the day. You'll have to put out fires, restrain prisoners, practice CPR, hurl bananas at monkeys or herd escaped penguins to safety. Yup, a real Crisis City, true Emergency Mayhem!

In addition to this entertaining single player game, Emergency Mayhem will bring us a multiplayer mode with mini-game challenges for up to four players. And if you feel that you love this game already and can't wait for it to be released, you can go check the official website and download some movies or mayhem wallpapers.
