She’s 57 and he’s 26. Ellen Barkin and Sam Levinson have been together for about 3 years, and they make one of the oddest couples of Hollywood – and its worst-kept secret as well. A new report suggests they’re now living together.

PageSix calls Ellen, a woman who can still boast of looking better than ladies half her age, a “super cougar” because not only has she managed to land herself such a young lover, but she’s also gotten him in a serious relationship.

Levinson is the son of the director who did “Diner” in 1982, the film that launched Barkin’s career. He’s only 5 years older than her own son, but sources close to the odd couple say that they’re doing wonderfully together.

That is not to say that the relationship is not a bit odd, because it is: due to the age gap, of course.

“They go out, they’re photographed together, they don’t keep it secret,” one spy says for the publication. “It works, but it’s weird,” adds another.

In fact, PageSix claims, Ellen and Sam have such good chemistry and solid relationship that they’ve been living together for a while, perhaps a couple of years, the tab estimates.

“Barkin launched her career in Barry Levinson’s 1982 film Diner. Sam was born three years later. But Barkin’s relationship with her young hunk is no fling,” PageSix writes.

“She’s been overheard saying she’ll part ways with him when ‘they roll me out in a wheelchair’,” adds the publication.

It certainly looks like the third time is a charm: Ellen has been married twice, as fans must probably know. She has two children with her first husband, Gabriel Byrne, who remains to this day one of her closest friends.

After the divorce, she married Revlon cosmetics mogul Ronald Perelman, whom she divorced after 6 years, in 2006 – and sued later for $3.4 million. She was awarded $4.3 million in court.
