Italian stunner Elisabetta Canalis and Hollywood serial heartbreaker George Clooney have been together for about one year and a half – and she reportedly feels the time is right for them to settle down and start a family.

The latest print issue of InTouch Weekly (story via here) claims Elisabetta is so determined to have George’s baby she doesn’t even care if he’s not ready to commit to a lifetime by her side.

She just wants him to be the father of her child because she’s feeling her biological clock ticking, it is being said – and it’s absolutely ok if he doesn’t want to marry her.

“Is the world’s best-known bachelor about to turn in his little black book for baby booties? George Clooney, 49, has been dating Italian television star Elisabetta Canalis, 32, for a year, and now she has started hearing the ticking of her biological clock,” InTouch writes.

A source close to Elisabetta has also confirmed this, saying George too has come to understand that the time is right to settle down, and that his playboy days are over.

“She wants a baby with George. As much as George has recently fought the idea of marriage and family, he is finally thinking about settling down,” says the source, choosing to go on the record under the cover of anonymity.

“But Elisabetta doesn’t even really care if they get married. She has a laid-back European mentality and doesn’t need a wedding right away,” the same insider explains.

Though confirmation on this is still pending, it would come to confirm what Elisabetta was saying about George in an interview a while back, as we also reported at the time.

In August this year, Canalis told the media she believed Clooney was “the one,” adding that malicious rumors circulating about her or about their relationship were only made up by jealous people.

Also then, she said George was the reason her “life regained color,” adding she felt as happy as if she was 18 years old and was in love for the first time.
