EA has managed to score its third nomination for the Human Rights Campaign's “Best Places to Work 2014” Corporate Equality Index.

Electronic Arts has been voted as the Worst Company in America for two years in a row, continually angering its community with fiasco after fiasco.

Server crashes, game freezes and bad customer support are the main culprits for the shameful award the company has managed to “earn.”

Consequently, CEO Andrew Wilson claimed that the company was listening to its angry customers, commenting that the nomination “was a wake-up call.”

Despite being considered the worst by its fans, it managed to again earn the fame of one of the best places in the nation to work, with a perfect score according to the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index report.

“We’re very proud that EA has been named a Best Place to Work by HRC again this year and that our organization has been recognized for providing a workplace that is inclusive and where everyone feels welcome,” said Andre Chambers, head of Diversity & Inclusion at EA, on EA's official blog.

The company has also earned perfect scores in 2008 and 2012, as VG247 informs.

EA was an official sponsor of the first annual GaymerX convention in San Francisco, the first convention targeted specifically to LGBT gamers and supporters.

Its employees were also involved in discussions referring to how creating more inclusive work cultures ultimately promotes a more inclusive gaming experience, at PAX Prime and GeekGirlCon in Seattle.

In addition, The Humble Origin Bundle, featuring ten of the company's games, raised over $10.5 million / €7.6 million, allowing its gaming community to donate to the Human Rights Campaign and another five charities. Opening up support from its gaming community was a powerful initiative that will have a lasting impact on human rights.
