The popular Eledees characters (or Elebits as some might call them) will mark their return to the gaming world thanks to Konami's decision to bring the cute little creatures to the Nintendo DS handheld by the end of the year. Since the full name of the game is Eledees: The Adventures of Kai and Zero (and not Elebits), you can imagine that it will be a Europe only title. If you do not live there, you shouldn't worry too much - we all know that if a title is successful enough, it will be released worldwide.

Eledees: The Adventures of Kai and Zero is considered a direct sequel to the original Wii game, but it also brings a bit of a mystical twist by taking the two main characters to a trip back in time thanks to the invention made by Kai's father - a time traveling bus. However, as you might imagine, time traveling is not something too easy to achieve, so you'll still have to capture a lot of electric Eledees so that your journey does not end. The most important character will be Kai, the one armed with a special gun, which is used to capture the scary Eledees or manipulate and move objects in his path.

Of course, since we're talking about a sequel here, lots of new elements are introduced. The most important ones will be the Omega Eledees, little creatures that boast a wider range of abilities and can be used as side kicks which accompany Kai through the stages of the game. Also, the multiplayer element is improved, with the Wi-Fi service allowing head to head or four player battles. All these aspects combined with some pretty impressive graphics for Nintendo's handheld will definitely have as result a great Eledees experience, enjoyable by the fans of the first title released on the Wii, as well as by newcomers.
