The first action game with a strong whiff of tequila and beans, Chili con Carnage was announced by Eidos Interactive. The publisher plans to have the PSP version of Chili con Carnage in stores by spring of 2007.

The game will be the first third person action game that will take place in Mexico. Players will be embodied in the game by trigger-happy Ramiro Cruz who goes deep in the underworld of Los Toros, trying to find his fathers' murderer to avenge his death. While Cruz tries to do so he doesn't mind creating over-the-top carnage in Cesar Morales' "organization". The so-called "bad guy" in Chili con Carnage is Cesar Morales who is the local kingpin and runs his own drug cartel.

The game is said to feature 19 mission taking place in 7 exotic locations like dangerous Mexican cities and dense jungles. Chili con Carnage will have a funny side to it as players will have to face chemical mutated super-Mama's and megalomaniac crime-lords.

Eidos announced that Chili con Carnage will have 4 game modes, including a challenging and fun wireless multiplayer mode. This game could prove to be a hit with GTA San Andreas Fans as the main features of the two games are similar.
