14 DAY TRIAL // The saying goes, “once a cheater, always a cheater,” but singer and reality star (as of late) LeAnn Rimes is choosing to ignore it and all the very visible signs that husband Eddie Cibrian is stepping out on her, a new report in Star Magazine claims.
The two met, fell in love, and immediately embarked on a physical affair at a time when they were both married to other people. They got divorced and went through PR hell because of the scandal, and were eventually married.
Since then, they’ve been trying hard to convince the world of several things, among which is the fact that they’re not the villains in the story and that they’re genuinely in love.
Eddie is already cheating on LeAnn and he’s not even trying to hide it
The genuinely in love part only applies to LeAnn, an insider reveals for the tab. She is so head over heels with Eddie and so desperate to make things work (and start a family) that she’s turning a blind eye on all the signs that should tell her, loud and clear, that he’s no longer faithful to her.
The tipster revealing all this for Star is actually a former acquaintance of the couple, to whom Eddie accidentally sent a flirty text message, thinking she was a woman he had tried to pick up earlier in the day.
“What time are you picking me up?” he supposedly wrote. “We are going to meet [in a restaurant] and then take me in your car afterwards because I don’t want to be near her.” “Her” being LeAnn, we’re to understand.
Admittedly Eddie realized his mistake, but he didn’t bother to cover it up. Instead, he just shut the woman out of their life for good, making sure this way that she could never go to LeAnn with her suspicions.

Not that it would have made that much of a difference either way, the same insider goes on to say. At this point, the country singer pretty much knows how things stand, but she won’t confront Eddie, probably because she’s too afraid to lose him.
“There are other girls. I hear about it,” says the insider. “LeAnn performed at Wendy Williams’ 50th birthday party in July, and Eddie was all over girls right in front of his wife. LeAnn didn’t do anything about it. She just goes on with her life.”
If you’re looking for possible reasons for LeAnn’s behavior, look no further than her desire to have children, the same source continues. Plus, she’s finally gotten everything on track and she believes a divorce would be bad for her career right now.
“She doesn’t want it to ruin their reality show. And she is revamping her career. She’s getting a lot of good press on her music again,” the spy explains.
