Designer Sonja den Elzen has come up with a new dress design that promises not only to answer a question that women have been asking themselves for decades, i.e. “What on earth am I going to wear today?,” but also make the fashion industry a tad more environmentally friendly.

Not to beat about the bush, this designer's METAmorph dress can be worn in over 20 different ways ranging from casual to classy.

More precisely, it can be worn long, short, tight or loose, depending on one's mood throughout the week, maybe even throughout the day.

The dress is made from organic bamboo stretch jersey, Ecoterre tells us. Besides, the dyes used to color it are low-impact ones, so one doesn't have to worry that their passion for fashion is harming natural ecosystems in any way.

“I believe that anything that is designed, and considered good design, should have the element of sustainability calculated into the design. We live in a world with finite resources, so I believe we want to sustain those resources and live on a beautiful planet,” designer Sonja den Elzen explains.

The dresses are made in Toronto, Canada and presently come in five different colors: black, gray, beige, raspberry, and teal. What's interesting is that each color is paired with a green-oriented organization that receives part of the money obtained by selling the dresses.

Thanks to an Indiegogo campaign, fashionistas can now buy one such dress for $82 (€59.8), plus shipping fess. What's more, they can offer one as a gift to one of their friends.
