The child tablet market is developing at a face pace and new models are spurting out like mushrooms after the rain, each month.

EasyPix has recently launched its own colorful tablet, the KiddyPad aimed at the young techies. The tablet’s core is protected by a housing made of plastic colored in yellow with orange accents. The company also includes a protective rubber orange holster, which makes the tablet very fun to look at.

The tablet runs on a dual-core Rockchip RK3168 processor clocked at 1.2GHz combined with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD). I should not forget to mention that the tablet has a 7-inch screen with a decent resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

Granted, hardware specs aren’t really important in a kiddie tablet, but this is comparable with some budget Android models targeted at adults available on the market today. The KiddiePad runs Android 4.2.2 itself and bundles a series of apps and games (from the dedicated App shop) suited and safe for children use.

The KiddyPad is currently available for shipping for the decent price-tag of €150 / $202 a pop.
