EVGA has just released a new BIOS update for its high-performance motherboards built around the Intel X79 chipset.

The new BIOS, which is identified as version 034, brings a series of improvements such as adjustable VDroop and better overclocking for C2 Stepping CPUs.

In addition, this also updates the list of CPU microcodes, corrects the previous memory voltage issues present when using XMP profiles, and also fixes some other problems that appeared when running the CPU at sub-zero temperatures.

The EVGA 034 BIOS is available for the X79 SLI, X79 FTW and the X79 Classified motherboards.
