ASUS isn't the only motherboard maker that is going to roll out a complete series of new P55-based motherboards. Companies such as EVGA and others are also on the Lynnfield bandwagon and are expected to update their portfolio with new supporting products. According to recent details that have surfaced on the Internet, EVGA, one of NVIDIA's leading partners on the graphics card and nForce-equipped mobo market, is preparing to launch a couple of P55-based solutions of its own. The company will reportedly launch a model that will pair Intel's P55 chipset with NVIDIA's nForce NF200 SLI chip, while another model will see the P55 chipset on an mATX PCB.

According to details that have surfaced on HardwareCanucks, EVGA will release several new boards powered by Intel's highly anticipated P55 chipset. The lineup, according to available details, includes models such as the P55 Classified, the P55 FTW 200, the P55 SLI, the P55 LE and the P55 Micro mATX. Each of these boards is designed to meet the performance requirements of a different type of user, but in EVGA's true tradition, we are pretty sure that all boards will be able to achieve high levels of performance.

The P55 FTW 200 is the one computer enthusiasts will be looking for, as it will reportedly be the company's highest-end model. It will allow users to build systems with the upcoming Intel processors, with support for up to four NVIDIA graphics cards, SLI technology and dual-channel DDR3 memory. The board features a black PCB and support for EVGA's upcoming EVBot, an overclocking technology that will allow users to tweak and monitor their system's specifications from a convenient external device.

The P55 Micro is no less interesting, as it boasts the P55 chipset on a smaller, HTPC-ready mATX motherboard. This model is likely to compete with the ASUS Maximus III Gene that has also been leaked on the Internet ahead of its official launch.
