Cell phones "trapped" inside a wristwatch-like body seem to become more and more popular, as new models continue to appear, bringing interesting looks and/or interesting features. EP2502 is the name of the latest watch mobile phone that comes with a pretty nice design, looking as stylish as any wristwatch produced by famous manufacturers.

One of the coolest features of the new EP2502 is that it's both waterproof and shock-resistant. Therefore, you won't have to take it off your wrist when swimming or doing other "wet" activities, nor worry about it being too fragile.

The rest of the features that the new cell watch packs are also nice (for its size, of course). We have a 1.3 inch OLED touchscreen display with 128 x 160 pixels and 260K colors, tri-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS, a 2.0 Megapixel photo camera, MP3 player, Video player (MP4), Bluetooth, picture viewer (JPG and GIF supported), SMS and MMS messaging, external memory card support, 64 polyphonic ring tones, handsfree, phone agenda with up to 250 contacts, alarms and so on.

The EP2502 also has support for many languages, including English (of course), Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, Italian, French, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai and "Rabbinic". The battery included in the new EP2502 is capable of offering up to 3 hours in talk-time mode and up to 160 hours in stand-by mode.

EP2502 can be spotted on several online retailers (here, for example) and it will be commercially available starting May the 10th, for a retail price of $299 (about 195 Euros). Along with the watch phone, buyers will also get a 512MB memory card and a Bluetooth headset, so it all seems to be a good bargain. Sure, that is if the device has an overall decent functionality.
