Called EK-Supreme LTX AMD series, it installs on AMD motherboards through the PreciseMount mechanism, which utilizes the AMD motherboard backplate.
The AMD motherboard backplate has been an integral part of every modern AMD socket motherboard since 2004.
It ensures contact between water block cold plates and the CPU itself, improving the thermal performance of the water block itself.
The totally tool-less construction of the product is a nice bonus.
