EIZO has long been a supplier of various display solutions, so it is no great wonder that it has issued a press release to announce the existence of two new such products.

Nowadays, there are so many things that electronic products can include in their build that the IT industry has never been more varied.

One would think that displays would not exhibit this to too great an extent, with their purpose now being so much less far-reaching than that of other things, like PCs for instance.

Nevertheless, there are many technologies that can display images and, in addition to that, multiple sorts of displays that work with them.

The two monitors that EIZO most recently revealed are, thus, distinct form each other through other things than their size.

Indeed, both measure the same in diagonal (23 inches), but they still address different users, even if their overall target consumer base is the same (the business sector is what they are made for).

One of the monitors is called FlexScan EV2315W and has TN panel, leading to viewing angles of 170 degrees horizontal and 160 degrees vertical. A response time of 5 ms (black-white-black) and D-Sub and DVI connectors complete the list of unique features.

The other product, EV2335W, has an IPS panel (178/178 angles) and a 6 ms (gray-to-gray) response time, plus D-Sub, DVI and DisplayPort.

Other than that, the two boast LED backlighting, a brightness of 250 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, a 0.5W speaker, the Auto EcoView and EcoView Optimizer functions (adjust screen brightness) and, of course, the Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels).

Finally, both newcomers have special stands which can perform 165 mm height adjustment, 25 degree tilt, 344 degree swivel and 90 degree rotation.

Unfortunately, though the five-year warranty is mentioned, the prices of the 23-inch monitors aren't given (the press release can be found and read here).
