To benefit from the supremacy of a maker such as Intel and to have its logo on your products is more than a great achievement; it is, maybe, the greatest of all. Intel has its famous Intel Recommended Materials List (Intel RML) - a database of hardware, content, services, and applications that have passed interoperability testing to work with Intel Viiv technology-based PCs.

The latest addition to this list is Elitegroup Computer Systems' (ECS) motherboards - the 945G-M3, the first ECS motherboard ranked in Intel's RML. But also the PX1 and the G965T-M are expected to be on the Intel RML soon. All come with Intel Quick Resume technology, Intel Matrix Storage Technology, and home theater quality audio via integrated Intel High Definition Audio (Intel HD Audio) and offer cutting-edge visuals through advanced integrated graphics, informs Hardware Zone.

"The inclusion of ECS motherboards in the Intel RML comes as a significant development in our continuing effort to market rigidly-tested motherboards that are true to their technological promises. Knowing ECS motherboards are Intel Viiv technology verifed, gives our customers total confidence their systems will perform at the highest levels," said Adam Chou, ECS Marketing Director, Product Marketing Division.

ECS' certified 945G-M3, PX1 and G965T-M motherboards are said to offer a highly efficient cooling solution, compatibility with a variety of storage, I/O, and low-power processors for desktops and home entertainment systems.

Intel informs its clients (equipment manufacturers, design manufacturers, system integrators or home users) regarding the latest additions to its RML list. The announcements appear as an update.
