Elitegroup Computer Systems, Inc. (ECS), a leading motherboard manufacturer, has released today its new product - KA3 MVP, an ATX motherboard supporting the new socket AM2 processors as well as dual, full-bandwidth PCI-Express x16 slots for graphics cards through its ATI CrossFire Xpress 3200 chipset (RD580).

The technology mixture of the KA3 MVP is meant especially for professional gamers and high tech enthusiasts who require great performance for stunning 3D graphics plus stability for extreme overclocking.

KA3 MVP is nothing like socket 939 and 754 motherboards, as it surpasses previous limitations to support dual channel DDR2-533, 667 and 800 SDRAM memory, which increases overall performance.

The KA3 MVP supports all versions of the Athlon FX, Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core, Athlon 64 and Sempron CPUs (each of them are socket AM2), as well as the new AM2 Energy Efficient microprocessors. AMD's latest series of low power processors provide 35W and 65W versions of AM2 processors for increased energy savings.

The manufacturer stated that its latest KA3 MVP meets AMD Live! digital media platform requirements, providing complete multimedia power to create and bring digital media content to all rooms of a home.

The KA3 MVP is based on ATI's Crossfire Xpress 3200 chipset and its great ability to handle overclocking. This includes overclocked FSB bus speeds of 1333 MHz, overclocked DDR2 memory of 1066 MHz and automatic PCI-E overclocking when ATI GFX cards are used.

Other KA3 MVP features include a Realtek ALC883 audio codec for 8-channel HD audio and a host of I/Os including 2 x SATAII, 4 x SATA, 8 x USB 2.0, Dual LAN (1 x Gb, 1 x 10/100), RAID support, 2 x S/PDIF (Optical and Coaxial) and optional 1394.
