14 DAY TRIAL // EC-Asia International Limited (ECI) launched a 5-in-1 multi-functional ACEplus Melody, an integrated Bluetooth headset digital music player and memory card reader, which permits stereo playback of MP3/WMA music tracks, receiving phone calls from a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone or Internet calls via a Bluetooth-enabled computer running popular Internet telephony applications such as Skype and MSN Messenger.
Moreover, the ACEplus Melody automatically pauses the music track when there is an incoming call and resume playback when the call ends, as the battery is independent of the Bluetooth connectivity and switches off the music player automatically when the call exceeds 5 minutes.
"ACEplus Melody is a precursor to a wide range of innovative digital lifestyle products that are coming soon from ECI, and validates our leading capacity in introducing innovative lifestyle products to the market. ACEplus Melody is targeted at music lovers from all age groups. With such a converged digital device, they no longer need to use separate devices to enjoy the tunes and receive phone calls while on the go. The ACEplus Melody can also be used as a SD/MMC card reader for the transfer of files between the memory card and the computer and will be improved soon by the manufacturer which announced that it intends to include an optional stereo sound dock. Furthermore, the device is powered by a built-in Li-Polymer rechargeable battery which automatically charges when the device is plugged into the USB port on any computer.
ACEplus Melody is now available in Singapore in six contemporary designs - Black, Leopard, Bee, Military, Red Cross, and White, at the recommended retail price of $198.
