The development team at Electronic Arts working on the EA Access service announces that the subscribing players will be able to get free access to Need for Speed: Rivals in September and that there are also new trials which will be offered to those who are subscribing.

The company states in an official announcement that until now it is very happy with the number of users that it has managed to attract, with the community playing more than 245,000 hours of the trial for Madden NFL 15, which is at the moment officially launched.

Electronic Arts says that players in 19 new countries, including Brazil, Scandinavia, the United Arab Emirates and Netherlands, will be able to enjoy EA Access on the Xbox One when the console becomes available on September 5.

The publisher adds, "Need for Speed Rivals will join Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Peggle 2, and Madden NFL 25 in The Vault as games you can play any time you want for as long as you want. Rivals lets you play as either cop or racer, and introduces the all-new AllDrive social system to blend the line between singleplayer and multiplayer."

The trial policy implemented in EA Access will not be changed, although gamers have been unhappy with the fact that they were only able to play six hours of Madden NFL 15.

Sports fans will be able to test the new gameplay features of both FIFA 15 and NHL 15 and decide whether they plan to pick up the full versions of the simulations, which are designed to use the power of the new hardware for increased realism.

Electronic Arts adds, "You can spend your time in FIFA 15 and NHL 15 however you like. If you decide to buy either of them, your Achievements and progress will carry over, and you’ll save 10% with your membership."

EA Access is designed to give gamers the chance to play the best old titles they might have missed, with the company saying that the catalog will eventually reach more than 100 games, while also offering them a chance to test out big upcoming releases.

The Electronic Arts service is only offered on the Xbox One at the moment, and Sony has made it clear that it will not offer it on the PlayStation 4, but the publisher has not said anything about bringing it to the PC in the near future.
