Another edition of the biggest video game show in the world is done and the third full day of E3 2014 has allowed me to once again see The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in action and to get some play time with Batman: Arkham City, Evolve and Far Cry 4.

The team at CD Projekt has mastered the art of delivering a solid presentation and they did not disappoint their fans, showing off a large part of one of the major quest lines for the coming role-playing title.

The studio has revealed that main character Geralt can now jump and swim in order to more easily explore the game world and the combat is looking more impressive than it did at least year's E3.

CD Projekt RED has also offered a little more details about the story of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the mysterious character that sits at its center.

Far Cry 4 was another interesting title at E3 2014 and it is probably the first first-person shooter that allows the gamer to attack an enemy outpost while riding an elephant that can be then used to distract enemy forces and trample them.

The fire fights are also as tense as ever and the mountain location allows Ubisoft to deliver some truly impressive environments.

The new monster in Evolve, the Kraken, has been a big surprise because it almost totally transforms how the cooperative shooter is played and gives fans an idea of how the team at Turtle Rock plans to expand the experience in the long term.

Initially, two role-playing titles, Dragon Age: Origins and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, were competing for the title of game of E3 2014, but I changed my mind and included a third game in the race when I saw Batman: Arkham Knight.

The new video game experience from Rocksteady manages to seamlessly introduce the Batmobile, while also expanding the range of options for the Dark Knight when he engages in combat.

The new villain, the Arkham Knight, also seems like an interesting character that could have a life outside the video game space.

During the last day of the show, I also spent a bit of time watching the trailers for both Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Metal Gear Solid V and no matter how many times I saw the images, I was unable to make full sense of the clips.
