E-Ten Glofiish X600 is, from now on, officially about to hit the market. The PocketPC phone has been announced and should soon be available in stores, although an exact release date has not been revealed yet.

E-Ten also revealed a specifications list for it, making it even more official. The device will run Windows Mobile 6, as most evolved smartphones are capable of it, and will also pack the latest technology. This includes GPS, a feature that has proved to be extremely popular for those who want to always have a reliable map in their pocket.

Moreover, the phone will also bring GPRS and Wi-Fi connectivity, for transferring information the mobile way. Moreover, it will also include Bluetooth, for wireless communication. The only disadvantage about this device proves to be the fact that it has no 3G technology included, for bringing fast data transfer speeds.

E-Ten Glofiish X600 will come in some pretty compact sizes, especially for a handset capable of its performances. At the dimensions of 107 x 58 x 14.7mm and 136 grams in weight, this proves to be a comfortable and compact device, as few others equipped with GPS technology can pride with. The lack of any old fashioned keypad surely contributes to the small sizes, although some people might feel the need for a QWERTY keypad for entering large texts.

The handset should bring just about everything that other evolved mobile phones have to offer. It will prove to be great for personal and office use and will also pack some pretty useful features, such as photo speed dial, application launcher, weather forecasts and world time.

Glofiish X600 will be available starting mid-November. The producer mentioned nothing on the exact date when their new PocketPC phone will hit the market, or on the price that it will come at, although E-Ten did promise it would be an affordable one.
