Two services will become available for Microsoft Dynamics GP partners and customers come November 1st, 2010.

According to the Redmond company, at the start of next month, Payment Services and Commerce Services will both go live.

“Payment Services enables customers to accept electronic payments via credit or debit cards, directly through the ERP, by phone or through an online solution. This service integrates to Receivables Management and Sales Order Processing,” a member of the Dynamics GP team stated.

The new service is designed for Dynamics GP 10.0 Service Pack 5 and Dynamics GP 2010 SP1, the software giant underlined.

Existing Microsoft Dynamics GP customers with BE, AM, Pro, and Standard licenses will be provided with free access to Payment Services provided that they are on a Business Ready Enhancement Plan (BREP).

“I should note that the typical transaction fees will apply of course, however the provider agreements for accepting credit cards are handled by the payment providers and customers themselves... not through Microsoft,” the Dynamics GP representative added.

Just as it is the case for Payment Services, Commerce Services will also be available for Dynamics GP 10.0 SP5 and Dynamics GP 2010 SP1. However, only Advanced Management customers will be able to take advantage of the online eCommerce platform integrated to Sales Order Processing.

“Build and publish new sales catalogs on demand and extend your sales reach across multiple online channels. Leverage online communities to drive your sales pipeline even further, all with seamless integration into Microsoft Dynamics GP,” the Dynamics GP team member explained.

On November 1, the “Commerce Services module will be featured on the Microsoft Dynamics GP Price List.

“From November 1st through May 31st, 2011, this module will be available to customers through an ‘early access release’ program, where the license fee will be discounted 100%,” according to Microsoft.
