After I told you yesterday that downloads of Dynamics CRM Server 2011 RTM are live from Microsoft, the company announced the global availability of its latest iteration of Dynamics customer relationship management solutions. Customers that want to get started with on-premise Dynamics CRM 2011 deployments, as well as Microsoft partners offering hosted Dynamics CRM services can now grab the RTM bits from the Download Center.

Companies around the world with Microsoft Software Assurance agreements can also start taking advantage of Dynamics CRM 2011 immediately.

“Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 brings a whole new level of productivity to sales, marketing and customer service departments,” revealed Terje Laugerud, CEO, CIBER International.

“The focus on familiar, intelligent and connected experiences appeals to our customers and provides an ideal platform for CIBER to deliver innovative CRM solutions to customers in a range of industries.”

Microsoft is applauding Dynamics CRM 2011 for raising the bar for performance and scalability in the CRM industry.

According to data released by the software giant, Dynamics CRM 2011 RTM managed to scale up to as much as 150,000 concurrent users in a single instance. It appears that in this particular scenario the CRM solution was still able to deliver sub-second response times.

The promise from Microsoft is that a Microsoft Dynamics CRM performance and scalability white paper detailing the benchmark results for the product will be offered in the next few weeks.

Of course, it’s important to note that customers have already had access to Dynamics CRM 2011, just not to the on-premise version.

In January 2011, Microsoft gave green light to Dynamics CRM Online, namely the Dynamics CRM 2011 in the Cloud, offered as an on-demand service.

Among the advantages that Dynamics CRM 2011 brings to customers, Microsoft underlined the default familiarity of the solution, as well as intelligent and connected experiences.
