Dying Light is getting a Season Pass that includes three different downloadable content packs, as Techland and Warner Bros. confirm that plenty of different things will be released for the zombie survival game.

Dying Light promises to deliver an interesting survival experience next year, tasking players with making it out alive from a zombie-infested city. They can use all sorts of weapons, not to mention their parkour skills to traverse the city during the day, when the zombies aren't that dangerous, and during the night, when they're much faster and way more vicious.

A Season Pass will be available soon

The game has received quite a few details and gameplay videos in recent months, and now developer Techland, together with publisher Warner Bros., confirms that fans will be able to get a special Season Pass DLC bundle when Dying Light launches in January.

The special pack includes three different add-ons that bring forth exclusive missions, zones, weapons, and outfits that enrich the regular Dying Light experience.

Three different DLC packs are included

The first add-on set to appear for Dying Light and included in the Season Pass is called Cuisine & Cargo and brings forth two hardcore missions that put the skills of the player to the ultimate test. Two sealed off locations, in the form of a restaurant and a railroad yard, are opened up and Techland promises that plenty of tough adventures await players in the two new zones.

The second DLC is the Ultimate Survivor Bundle, which includes seven unique in-game items, in the form of three special outfits and four blueprints for over-the-top weapons that should make surviving a bit easier.

Last but not least, the third add-on is called the Bozak Horde and basically delivers a wave-based horde mode that's playable either solo or via the cooperative mode with a friend.

"The final Season Pass drop will deliver a new map and gameplay, playable in either single-player or co-op. Go inside the Harran Stadium, the most famous landmark in the city, and test your combat know-how against relentless hordes of the Infected. Fight increasingly stronger and larger enemy waves as you oppose a mysterious psychopath called Bozak," the studio reveals.

The Dying Light Season Pass debuts on the game's release date of January 27. Additionally, fans can already order the Dying Light Ultimate Edition, which also includes the Season Pass and the actual game. The first add-on, Cuisine & Cargo, is set to roll out in February.
