Developer Techland has announced a one-off collector's edition of its first-person zombie survival game that would be able to threaten the financial stability of some countries, let alone your average everyday gamer.
Dying Light's My Apocalypse edition goes for the price of $386k / €340k, which is more than Lamborghini or Ferrari would cost you.
Granted, purchasing any of those cars won't really put a roof over your head, while buying this bundle will. The offer includes a fully decked zombie-proofed log cabin, with complete living amenities, built by Tiger Log Cabins.
In addition to this, you also get the ultimate scarecrow / Halloween decoration, a human-sized Volatile figurine, to deter would-be human raiders from sneaking into your crib, and a bunch of other neat perks, like actual parkour lessons with the Ampisound freerunning team.
A ton of neat goodies
The bundle includes not one but four different signed steel Xbox One copies of Dying Light, and Xbox One console, a television set, a surround sound system, two Razer Tiamat headphones, and some branded night vision goggles and a stack of adult diapers for "Dying Light's night-time gameplay."
Not only that, but you'll also get your face scanned and put right into the game, to be used on one of the Night Hunter models for the title's asymmetrical 4v1 multiplayer mode, Be the Zombie.
Furthermore, you also get a round trip to Techland's offices in Poland, where the dev team will allow you to beat them in a not-so-friendly game of Be the Zombie, so you can brag about it to your friends while shacked up in the cabin.
The limited edition is the result of an exclusive partnership between developer Techland, publisher Warner Bros., and British video game retailer GAME.
This is definitely one of the craziest collector's editions ever seen in the world of gaming, and it's going to be really interesting to see who picks it up.
