The popular image editing software, DxO Optics Pro was recently updated to version 9.1 offering improved denoising capabilities, Facebook export, faster display and new camera support.

DxO Optics Pro's PRIME (Probabilistic Raw IMage Enhancement) technology has been further improved and is now able to render images with much more details than before, preserving textures and elimination noise more efficiently.

The PRIME denoising technology uses a complex algorithm that analyzes nearly 1000 neighboring pixels for each particular pixel in order to identify similarities and reconstruct information.

Using the new PRIME denoising technology, the new version of DxO Optics Pro offers unrivaled image quality with up to one stop beyond the other rival noise reduction algorithms available on the market.

Thanks to the new faster display, images will now be rendered instantly allowing you to maximize time and improve your workflow. At the same time, the new Export to Facebook option combines RAW processing and uploading in a single operation, which allows you to instantly share your photos via the popular social network.

In addition to that, DxO Optics Pro comes with support for the latest digital cameras on the market including: Sony Alpha 7R (Elite Edition), Olympus OM-D E-M1 (Elite Edition), Nikon D5300, Pentax K-500, Canon PowerShot G16 and PowerShot S120, Panasonic Lumix GX-7 and Sony NEX-5T.

Nearly 500 new camera/lens modules have been added through this new update, which rounds the available modules to more than 16,000. Through these modules, you will be able to instantly correct vignetting, distortion, lens softness or chromatic aberrations for the selected cameras with an unprecedented level of quality.

Moreover, using the new DxO FilmPack plugin, you will be able to apply various filters, tonings and visual effects characteristic to analog films directly on your RAW images, giving you infinite editing possibilities.

DxO Optics Pro Standard and Elite editions are now available for purchase from the DxO Labs online store through a special promotion that ends on December 25, at a price of $99 / €99 / £79 for the Standard Edition and $199 / €199 / £159 for the Elite Edition.
