Everyone knows that RAW images need a little bit of retouching due to limited camera sensors that can't capture the scene as the eyes see it. While there are a quite a few image editing products on the market, some of them stand out thanks to the wide range of features and customization options.

This is the case of DxO Optics Pro, a comprehensive program that incorporates powerful RAW and JPEG processing tools as well as a few proprietary technologies meant to help you get the best from your images.

DxO Optics Pro offers its users a revolutionary denoising technology that allows you to recover fine details even from images shot at the highest ISO. At the same time, using the DxO Smart Lightning tool, you will be able to optimize exposure and contrast for optimal results.

The application was just updated to version 9.1.1, bringing a few important changes for its users. First of all, the new version of the application comes with added support for six new digital cameras including Nikon Df, Sony Alpha 7, Sony DSC-RX10, Sony A3000, Pentax K-3, and Panasonic Lumix DMC-LF1.

While the Elite Edition of the app incorporates all these cameras, the Standard Edition provides support for only four of them minus the Nikon Df and Sony Alpha 7.

In addition to that, DxO Optics Pro v9.1.1 comes with 580 new camera/lens profiles that add to the 16,000 available DxO Optics Modules to help you fix chromatic aberrations, distortion, vignetting, and lens softness with a single mouse click.

Among the new lenses supported you can now find the Carl Zeiss Distagon T* Otus 1.4/55 for Canon and Nikon, the Carl Zeiss Apo Sonnar T* 2/135 for Canon and Nikon, as well as six long-awaited Zeiss lenses for Nikon cameras.
