A week ago, DxO Labs unveiled a new version of the popular DxO Optics Pro, adding support for the latest digital cameras, including Panasonic Lumix GM-1, Nikon 1 AW1, and iPhone 5s.

Today, the French software developer announced new versions for its ViewPoint and FilmPack apps that aim to bring a few stability improvements as well as other new features to streamline your workflow.

DxO ViewPoint is a useful program that allows you to instantly correct the most complex image perspectives, including pincushion, barrel, or fisheye distortion for both JPEG and TIF images. The application comes with over 17,000 camera/lens profiles for the most commonly used digital cameras and lenses, and can be used as a standalone application or as a plugin for Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Lightroom, Aperture.

The new ViewPoint v2.1.2 features new camera/lens profiles that further increases the program's usefulness.

On the other hand, DxO FilmPack is capable of rendering grain, quality, and style found in some of the most popular analog films to your RAW images. Moreover, with FilmPack you can also apply various filters, tonings, and lots of visual effects to give an original look to your images. The latest FilmPack v4.5.1 comes with a few stability improvements that will provide a smoother workflow.
