Customers will only get the flavor of pot without the effect

Customers at a diner in Amsterdam will be offered pot-tasting mayonnaise to go with their French fries, reports say.

The Manneken Pis owner is likely aiming to capitalize on tourists' view on the Netherlands as a haven for marijuana consumption.

His shop sells fries with a variety of toppings, and his next addition will be a cannabis flavored sauce.

According to a report by Sky News, Albert van Beek insists that the product does not contain tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, which is the active ingredient that makes consumers get high.

“It's just about the taste,” he says.

You can legally smoke pot at cafes in the country, which is how van Beek has come up with the idea of including it on the menu at his eatery.
