Former “Saved by the Bell” star Dustin Diamond is in danger of losing his Wisconsin house after falling behind on his payments – for the third time in only a few years.

In 2006, the star caused quite a ruckus after it emerged that he was heavily in debt, had no possibility to cover it, and was in danger of losing his house.

Aside from launching a “Save My House” campaign, complete with customized t-shirts available for purchase by generous fans, Diamond also sold other “personal” items belonging to himself, such as a particular tape he’d made.

Now, there’s no word on what he may do to cover his huge debt and avoid being thrown in the street by creditors – which is very likely to happen, says TMZ.

“Dustin Diamond’s facing foreclosure for the third time in five years – dude’s bank just filed new legal docs claiming the former ‘Saved by the Bell’ star owes over $278,000 on his Wisconsin home,” the e-zine reports.

“Screech had his first foreclosure scare in 2006 – when he allegedly fell behind $250,000 on his mortgage payments. It all happened again a few months ago in April – except according to Wells Fargo Bank, Screech’s debt had ballooned to $290,000,” TMZ says.

Now, Diamond has again accumulated such a large debt that the bank is seriously considering foreclosure as its only remaining option to see at least some of that money back.

“Now, the foreclosure monster is rearing its ugly head yet again – Wells Fargo just filed more foreclosure papers in Wisconsin, claiming DD is still in default, owing $278,309 since May... and now the bank is tightening the screws for realsies,” TMZ notes.

“WF wants to recoup their losses stat – demanding immediate foreclosure on Screech’s property. So far, no word from the goateed one. Zoiks!” says the same media outlet.

Dustin Diamond is not the only celebrity to face foreclosure these days – but at least he won’t be publicly humiliated like Nadya Suleman if he doesn’t pay back what he owes.

As we also reported a few days ago, the rightful owner of Octomom’s La Habra, California home, is saying he will talk to the media and publicly shame her if she doesn’t pay back pending payments amounting to nearly half a million bucks.
