The Duke Nukem Forever demo is now live on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms but only for members of the special First Access Club.

Duke Nukem Forever has been in development for a huge amount of time, and is now finally getting ready to be released after being pulled back from death by Gearbox Software and 2K Games.

Now, as we're nearing the release date of the game, which happens next week in Europe and two weeks from now in North America, the two companies have now deployed the demo for the game exclusively for members of the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club.

In case you don't remember, those who bought the Borderlands Game of the Year edition, or who pre-ordered Duke Nukem Forever, got a special voucher, which can be redeemed on the Duke Nukem First Access Club webpage.

After users fill out information about their preferred platform, they can get another code, which can be redeemed on the Steam digital download service, for the PC, on the recently functional PlayStation Store, for the PS3, or on the Xbox Live Marketplace, for the Xbox 360.

The demo can now be downloaded on all three platforms, weighing in at around 1.8GB.

What's more, members of the First Access Club will also be on the receiving end of "the very first Duke Nukem Forever multiplayer downloadable add-on for free!"

According to Kotaku, which cites an inside source, the downloadable content won't consist of just a special skin or access to weapons, as it's going to be a full pledged release, probably consisting of new maps or even new multiplayer modes.

Duke Nukem Forever, after a recent delay, is now scheduled to arrive for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 10, in Europe, and June 14, in North America.
