HTC unveiled two new mid-range smartphones last week, the Desire 820G+ and 626G+. Both devices were launched in Taiwan where they can already be purchased.

The Taiwanese handset maker did not mention at that time whether or not any of these smartphones will be available in other countries and when if yes.

The good news is customers in India can already purchase the HTC Desire 326G for only Rs 9,590 outright, which is about $150 or €135.

However, as you might have noticed by now, the smartphone has lost the “+” tag from its name, which means it comes with lower specs than the Desire 626G+ that's been introduced in Taiwan last week.

In fact, this dual-SIM Desire 326G has been announced by HTC last month and confirmed to arrive on the market in early May, but for whatever reason it got delayed.

Beginning this week, customers can purchase the HTC Desire 326G in either Black Onyx or White Birch, a new report confirms.

Some promotional offers are available too

In addition, those that buy the phone will also receive 3-month premium Hungama subscriptions and Myntra discounts worth Rs 5,000 ($78 / €70).

Moving on to specs, the Desire 326G ships with Android 4.4 KitKat and Sense Lite on top, which is a bit disappointing for the HTC smartphone.

On the inside, the handset is equipped with a modest 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731G processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

The Desire 326G sports a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It also packs an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel camera in the front.

Last but not least, the smartphone is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery and offers a wide range of connectivity options, including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS.
