14 DAY TRIAL // One day after the rumor that Christina Aguilera attacked Julianne Hough at the Golden Globes 2011 comes a report that is surely not going to help her in terms of speculation on her diva attitude: she crashed Jeremy Renner’s birthday party and slept in his bed.
On January 8, the Oscar-nominated actor (“The Hurt Locker”) turned 40 and his party was the place to be for all Hollywood A-listers.
Aguilera too, Us Weekly writes, was invited to the glitzy bash – and she seemed to have gone out of her way to make her presence felt. While there, she got completely “wasted,” after showing up with her new boyfriend in tow.
“Finding Christina Aguilera between his sheets was hardly a dream come true for Jeremy Renner. Popping up uninvited at Renner’s 40th birthday bash on January 8, the singer, 30, got ‘wasted’ then lay down in the star’s bed, a source tells the new Us Weekly,” the mag writes.
This is only coming out now because Renner kept it a secret, the publication further says, citing well informed (but unnamed) sources.
At the Golden Globes on Sunday, Jeremy told a friend about the incident and – as these things go – someone overheard him and went to the tabloids with the story.
“Someone comes and tells me she’s in my room. I run up and open the door and I’m like, ‘Um, hi. What are you doing?’ She just starts slurring,” Renner reportedly said of Aguilera crashing his birthday bash.
“Her boyfriend [Matthew Rutler] was rubbing her back. Who comes to someone’s birthday party that they don’t know and gets in their bed?! My parents were there!” the actor added.
Us even got someone from inside the exclusive party to confirm this. “Christina was a mess at that party. She acted like a fool. Her boyfriend was shushing her and telling her to go to sleep,” the spy clarified.
A rep for Jeremy Renner confirmed that Aguilera was at his party, “enjoying herself,” but strongly denied all claims that she somehow ended up in his bed.
