Dropbox 2.7.37 is a client for an online service that lets you bring all your photos, docs, and videos anywhere, and it's available on multiple platforms – Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X.

The new build of the Dropbox client has arrived with a large number of improvements and fixes, which is very different from what we have been used to in the past. Usually, the experimental versions only brought a couple of fixes, but the developers have outdone themselves.

According to the changelog, a bug on Linux where clicking an item in the “Recently Changed” menu would not select the right file has been fixed, a few small problems in the Shared Folder Settings window have been corrected, and a bug where the Dropbox folder would not go back to the same place on relink for dual account and DfB users has been fixed.

Also, the “Selective Sync” feature is no longer offered if the user is relinking, the “Selective Sync” window is no longer failing, and a rare bug that occurred when linking a secondary account has been fixed.

Dropbox developers are trying something new with this version, but it's only for the Windows and Mac OS X clients.

“We're trying something new this time. We'd like you to test our auto sign-in installers for Windows and Mac OS X. The auto sign-in installers will not ask you for your Dropbox username and password a 2nd time if you're logged in to the website,” they note.
