Evolution Studios has just revealed the full-length gameplay video, which showcases the Nakasendo track that's coming as a free downloadable add-on later this month and allows players to race through the impressive Japan.

Driveclub launched last year and was immediately plagued by an array of problems related to its online mode and its multiplayer servers. The fact that the title amped up its social racing experience, with an emphasis on making online clubs, while having non-functional multiplayer only made things worse.

Evolution has since made many improvements to the game and the online mode is now working as intended. As such, the studio has also moved on to coming up with the different downloadable content promised before launch, such as new cars, new tracks, not to mention big updates that added the weather mode, for example.

Nakasendo is the first Japanese track coming as free DLC

Now, the studio is moving on and wants to introduce a new region to the game's roster, in the form of Japan. The first free track that will appear as DLC is Nakasendo, and after getting a short teaser trailer yesterday, a proper, full-length gameplay video is available.

As you can see below, the Nakasendo track is quite impressive, and with the new weather effects, racing in the Japanese stage is a blast.

"Watch this full preview of Nakasendo, one of the new Japanese tracks coming in a free game update later this month. It's an epic point-to-point drive offering plenty of wide open sections for high speed overtaking and long switchbacks where you can get your drift on."

A new car pack is also on the way

As you can see in the footage below, Driveclub dev Evolution is also using an all-new car, in the form of the mighty impressive Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Centennial Edition, which will be part of an upcoming car pack that will be free for Season Pass owners.

Driveclub is set to receive the January DLC add-ons later in the month, so expect to hear more about the Nakasendo track and the new car pack in the following weeks.
