DriveClub is one of the most anticipated PS4 racing games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The game released last year was a disappointment for most players, especially for those who pre-ordered the game.

Although the game was delayed for one year, developer Evolution Studios hasn’t been able for provide players with the gaming experience promised by Sony back in 2013.

Plagued by server issues and a rather dull gameplay, DriveClub is still a work in progress. The good news is that those who own it have already received several updates, which apparently seem to have changed the game completely.

The PlayStation Plus Edition has been postponed indefinitely, but as the game continues to receive updates that improve its gameplay on all aspects, we can expect Sony to make an announcement regarding its availability pretty soon.

Until then however, let’s see what new change the next updates will bring to DriveClub, because there are still lots of issues to address and some features to add.

Replying to DriveClub fans on his Twitter account, the game’s director Paul Rustchynsky confirmed some of the bug fixes that should be included in the next update.

The Season Pass issues should be fixed in the next US PSN Store update

First of all, he confirmed that some of the Photo Mode issues previously reported by players will be addressed in the next patch. Rustchynsky hopes his team will be able to address a problem with the Photo Mode in DriveClub, which prevents players to pan out the camera without the menu showing up.

The next fix that should be provided to DriveClub players is related to the Season Pass. Apparently, Sony made a mistake and did not include the Elements and Redline DLCs in the Season Pass, but that should be addressed in the next US Store update.

Paul Rustchynsky also denied rumors that Photo Mode in DriveClub swaps car models for higher quality ones. One last piece of information that we learned from DriveClub’s director is the fact that Ferrari 599 XX EVO is only available for online gameplay due to licensing reasons.

It’s unclear when exactly the next update for DriveClub is supposed to drop, but we will keep an eye out for any additional details on the matter so stay tuned.
