14 DAY TRIAL // Drew Barrymore, who announced her engagement just a short while ago, might be getting ready for another major event in her life: recent paparazzi photos indicate she might be pregnant.
The star has not been immediately available for comment on this but TMZ feels that a photo is worth a thousand words – and, in Drew's case, it might spell “pregnancy.”
Basically, the actress and her fiancé were photographed leaving a doctor's office, holding what looked like a sonogram.
“Drew Barrymore was clutching what appears to be sonogram results as she left a doctors office in Beverly Hills with her fiancé late last week... soooooo... is Drew pregnant?!?!?” the celebrity e-zine writes.
“Here are the facts: Drew is engaged to Will Kopelman, a 34-year-old art consultant... who popped the question just a few months ago. That's pretty much it for the facts,” TMZ adds.
The same publication notes that, in light of the photos and what they suggest, they contacted Drew's spokesperson for a statement but all they got was a “no comment”: not a confirmation, but not a denial either.
People magazine also did some digging around and, while it was not able to determine whether the above report is accurate or not, it came to the conclusion that, if it were, Drew would make an amazing mother.
“Drew is so motherly. Will would like to be a dad. Family is so important to him,” a source close to the star told People last month, when speaking about the possibility of starting a family shortly after they tie the knot.
Come to think of it, Drew expressed a desire to be a mother as early as 2006, when she stated out loud that, though she hadn't yet started planning for a family, she believed one was in the cards for her.
“I definitely feel the beginnings of a tick-tock.. Whether I have children or adopt, whatever form a family comes in, I would absolutely love to have it,” she said at the time, as cited by the same celebrity magazine.
