Finding the perfect case for your smartphone companion is quite often a pretty difficult job, especially if you happen to be looking for something truly special (perhaps even unique), but rarely have we come across a solution that enables users to turn their iPhone into a solid-looking, all-chrome bar, as is the case with the Chrome Slider Case from Incase. It's true that many users might not really go for this all-metal look for the iPhone 4, but, then again, there might be plenty who will, especially those people who love this look and material (custom bike and car builders are the first who come to mind, then perhaps ever extreme bikers). Of course, perhaps the aforementioned categories are not exactly the type of people who'd be tempted by the handset from Apple, but stranger things have happened. Anyway, back to the case in question, it's interesting to mention that the Chrome Slider Case is made of hardshell plastic with a mirror finish and features a minimal wall thickness of 1 mm. So, unfortunately, you can pretty much forget about embedding your handset into a real chrome coat...guess that the finish should quench your thirst for chrome, though. Moreover, interior rubber guardrails provide shock absorption in addition to impact and scratch protection and each case features a fluorescent pop lining. As expected (and as pretty much normal in the case of such a product), the Chrome Slider Case offers direct, unimpeded access to all device features, while also including a stand for upright viewing of the widescreen iPhone 4. Pricing for the Chrome Slider Case from Incase has been set at around $34.95, which is not exactly a very high price, but it's not that small, either, compared to some of the other similar protective solutions available out there, on the market.
