Socialite and reality TV star Kim Kardashian decided it was high time she gave charity work a go - and what better way to do this than via her own clothes. The socialite has decided to remove last season's clothes from her wardrobe in a classic clean-off operation that will allow her biggest fans to get their hands on various designer clothing items and accessories that belonged and were worn by Kim herself.

Kim's clothes and accessories will be auctioned off via eBay's Giving Works resource, with part of the profits going to the Dream Foundation, which grants wishes to terminally ill patients. Among the items set to go under the virtual hammer are Jimmy Choo boots, Chanel bags and various designer dresses and accessories.

In addition to this, Kim is also auctioning off the chance to have a taste of her glamorous life, by offering to take a winning bidder out for lunch and then on a shopping spree at the California-based store Dash, which is owned by her family.

"It's going to be amazing! These are some of my favorite items... Plus, (you can) bid to have a fantastic lunch with me and my sisters, followed by some personal shopping help from us at our store", Kim promises. She also appealed to other fashion-forward celebrities, inviting them to use eBay's Giving Works service, which was specifically designed to help raise money by auctioning off unwanted items.

"You get to do something good... and look good doing it. And, in case you didn't know, anytime you sell something on eBay, you can donate a percentage of your proceeds to charity. So clean out those closets and get rid of last season's clothes for a great cause", Kardashian added.
