Even if the Kardashian clan is making daily headlines around the world on the most mundane happenings, their reality show isn't faring as good as producers might have hoped. The ninth season just premiered on E! and numbers don't look promising.

In fact, it's just the opposite, as fewer people are interested in Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Radar has the scoop that this season's premiere was less popular in terms of audience than that of the previous season.

Only 2.56 million viewers tuned in to watch the return to the screen of Kris & co. for season 9, when the premiere of season 8 managed 3.02 million viewers.

The first episode banked on the much discussed split between Kris and Bruce Jenner, but it wasn't as successful as Kim's pregnancy and her relationship with Kanye West from last season. People seem to know where the story is heading and are no longer tuning in to their TVs to find out what's going on.

Fans didn't seem to respond well to the split, and even more drama awaits them as this season will also tackle the Khloe Kardashian divorce from Lamar Odom.
