Dragon Age: Origins is set to arrive on November 3 and BioWare is keen on making its old school fantasy role playing title as attractive to potential customers as possible. Their latest move is to announce a package of downloadable content that will be delivered to players on the same day as the game launches, allowing them access to a new dungeon.

The name of the DLC is Warden's Keep and it will cost players who are interested in picking it up need to pay 560 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360 and 7 dollars on the PC. The DLC will also be offered on the PlayStation 3 later in November.

The Warden's Keep is actually a very old and quite possibly haunted fortress used by the Grey Wardens as a staging point when they faced the Blight. The add on will offer new traders, six fresh abilities for the main characters and some other items, among them a set of Grey Armor with special properties. Players will also get a chance to explore the place and fight some of the more unsavory inhabitants.

There are two other pieces of day one content that players might be interested in getting. Both of them are free for those who have pre-ordered the game or those willing to buy a new copy of Dragon Age: Origins and will cost for those who buy the game used.

The Stone Prisoner is set to offer a fresh adventure and the possibility of getting a stone golem to join the party of the player while the second one will enable the use of the Blood Armor, which has special abilities related to deflecting missiles and blows. This piece of equipment can also be used in Mass Effect 2, the space-based role playing game set to arrive in 2010.
